i lost the paper that tells you, can anyone tell me how many pegs for a child size hat?

How sturdy is it if you have it as a big serenity loom & as it says buy more to make bigger? Doesn’t seem like it would hold a large blanket?

Because you can bunch the pegs together, it protects itself and keeps the project small on your lap. The adult hats I've been making use 80 pegs, which is most of one loom. I find when scrunched the loom feels like a toy loom. I love these sturdy looms. And large blankets should be no problem.

Can you use this loom for double knitting?

I haven't tried it, but I think you could assemble some pieces to mimic a double knit loom. Authentic Knitting Board's rotating double knit loom also works well for double and single knit flat panels and in the round.

Do you know the equivalent size knitting needle? I am trying to convert a pattern.

The box should come with a hook to help with knitting. As for threading needles. I don't like the plastic needles that come with some of these kits. I use a regular yarn needle to help thread my projects. Hope that this helps.
