Basic security to discourage opportunistic thieves
A good option for discouraging opportunistic theft, roughly similar to what you'd find in a hotel room. When buying a safe like this, give thought to how you're going to bolt the safe into your house; the security of a lightweight safe like this will only ever be as good as the bolts holding it. In any case, it would probably take a professional thief 3-5 minutes to either pull the safe out of the wall, or cut through to the inside.

No real problems except instructions
The initial setup was a bit of a pain, because access to the key hole was not explained properly. The pictoral-only instructions showed the Yale logo turning out of the way of the key hole, but this is incorrect. The only way to get access is to get a flat object and prize it off until it unclips and becomes a separate piece. It can be put back easily afterwards. Once initial setup was out of the way it was easy to use. The safe is a good one and is well designed. The controls are pleasant to use and the beep is quiet and pleasant too. I think you could easily use this safe at night without waking anyone. The metal appears thick enough to deter thieves. It has 4 screws on the back for wall mounting, but I think wall mounting this would be difficult given it's large depth. It's much better stored under a bed or in a large cupboard. It is also supplied with 4 AA batteries which means you don't have to hunt around for some to get set up. If there was one other criticism it would be that there is no internal light as it is hard to see into this safe, again, because of its large depth.

Vale for money
It's small safe storage to keep valuable things like Laptop, passport, documents. Specially the digital lock, its quite heavy and movable.

De kluis is praktisch gezien kleiner dan opgegeven. Er zit nog een rand aan de binnenkant waar het slot achter valt en waar de scharnieren aan vast zitten. Hierdoor past een box van 39 cm breed en 8 cm hoog er niet in terwijl de opgegeven binnenmaat 42 cm is. Feitelijk is de opening 38 cm breed. Ben je daar voorbij dan is de binnenmaat wel 42 cm.

Ich bezweifle, dass diese etwas bessere Geldkassette einen Einbruchversuch lange standhält. Besser das Geld wo anders anlegen.
