Best Audiophile Cable For the Price
I decided to buy one of these to see if it is equal to or an improvement to the longer cable I had to temporarily use for a higher end CD player as most manufacturers include either no cable or include inferior cables to connect to an integrated amp or similar. Granted, I stated with a similarly priced cable with similar characteristics -- Gold plated ends, nice grip on the connectors, very thick cables, insulated and shielded (but not braided like this). And the price of the cable I am using is $40 (with volume discounts, normally $80). It is used primarily for recording studios, and when I bought a few for the studio, I bought a few extras for home to get a volume discount. Now to these cables. Are they better than the higher end RCA cables I was using? It depends. I like that this cable is shorter (as I like clean aesthetics) and my spare RCA cables were 2m. I also like my older cable connectors as it has a better grip across the entire connector, and the entire connector is 24K gold plated. As old as the cables are, they still look brand new. I do like how stiff these cables are. Once you get it into the shape you want to connect your gear, it stays put. I am not a fan of the connector because it is glossy and has minimal grip. However, it does connect to the gear firmly, yet still easy to remove, if necessary. The overall build quality is very nice. It's definitely been well thought out, designed, and built. Now the sound of these cables are stellar. Comparing to my older high end cable, it sounds very similar. I didn't lose the details I am used to on the CD player or any other source I connected to. I still heard solid bass, clear crisp highs, and the midrange was as it was prior to swapping cables. The soundstage did not change, and still as wide as it was. Aside from the cable connections being less grippy, there is nothing bad I can say about these cables. It didn't affect my ability to swap out cables, nor did it degrade the sound. This is an amazing RCA cable for the price of under $30.00 for a 1m cable. I also like the fact that the left and right channels can be spread fairly wide. If you need to replace those cables included with Turntables (make sure to order a separate ground cable if you're turntable doesn't have a built-in preamp), CD players, or other devices, this is the best cable for the price. I have tried enough high end cables in recording studios/mastering studios I've worked out of to know that these are of equal audio quality compared to the extremely expensive RCA cables. Hope this helps.

SKWโs Are a Great Value
I bought the SKW 0.5 meter analog RCA cables because they had great reviews and they where under $28.00. I usually use fiber optic cable as my interconnect of choice between my digital receiver and CD player. However, I just bought a new Tascam CD-200BT player that requires analog RCA cabling for the Bluetooth receiver feature to function properly. So, I decided to buy the best quality, yet affordable, cables. My research brought me to the SKWโs and Iโm very happy with my choice. The construction and materials are first rate! The approximately 18โ cables were a perfect length between my receiver and CD player. The connection fit was excellent, snug but not too tight. I auditioned my new Tascam CD player using the SKWโs and was very impressed with the sonic performance of these cables. I played a virgin copy of Robert Plantโs, โCarry Fireโ, and the results were outstanding! I own a pair of classic ADS L810 Speakers(40 years old and still cranking!) renowned for their outstanding bass performance. I have never before heard bass response so low, clean and tight in these speakers, and Iโve always used decent interconnects. The mids and highs were also exceptional resulting in a well balanced sound and listening experience. It was like hearing a new and improved version of my L810โs. Iโm sure the Tascam contributed here too, but the amazing bass response was all SKW. The only minor issue I had with these cables were they were not marked negative and positive at the plugs, so some tape labeling should be in order, especially with longer lengths. I highly recommend these cables; theyโre high end performers at a low end price! If things should change over time, I will update my review.

Look nice, sound great, competitievly priced
I will preface this by saying I am not an audiophile. I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between various high-end cables. With that said, I do enjoy quality audio, as well as quality components in anything I purchase. These cables appear to be well constructed, they look nice, and I have no complaints on quality of the sound carried by them. I currently have the 1m cables going from my Fluance RT85 turntable to a phono preamp, and then the 0.5m set going from the phono preamp to a small class D amp. This wraps up with a set of SKW 1.5m speaker cables feeding a small pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers. Everything sounds perfect to me, and it has a noticeably more "clean" sound than the cheap set of RCA cables I was using previously. I feel as though my money was well spent, and could easily recommend these cables to anyone looking for premium-quality cables without having to empty your entire wallet to pay for them.

Well made very tight fit.
Well made but four stars because it locks on too tight. It's a set it and forget it type hook up.

Stiff, robust cable with tight connections - clean sound at a good price!
I've been using these for a couple months. I'm on an entry level system: SMSL DO100 SMSL HO100 SMSL SH-6 Hi-Vi Swans M10 Plus These cables are being used on my SH-6's pre-out to the M10 plus. The SH-6 is connected to the DO100 via RCA, while the HO100 is connected to the DO100 via XLR. The sound is clear, no noise, no distortion, and very detailed. Many report that these cables brighten up the sound. They may, I'm not entirely sure on the relative brightness of other cables, since my setup is brand new and never had other cables on this setup. But they sure do sparkle with clarity. I can hear micro details so clear it startles me for a second because I wasn't sure if the sound was from the speakers, or something from my surroundings. The whole "brightening" thing, if true, I guess can be a good, or a bad thing depending on the rest of your system, and the sound you are aiming to achieve. If it's already really bright, then perhaps, these may not be what you want. As for build quality, these may, or may not be what you're looking for. These cables are stiff. I mean super stiff. So, if you're tight on space, these may not be fore you. I made them work for me. While they are indeed stiff, they also feel robust and heavy duty. How true that is in reality, I will see in time. The connecting terminals are also very tight. Coupled with the mirror smooth finish, you can imagine what it can be like. Do you have hands which are oily/clammy? Good luck. Better find rubber gloves. They are tight. Have arthritis? Hope you live with someone who can lend a hand, or you'll need pliers. This can be a good thing, however. If the setup is going to be permanent/long-term, it's great to know that the connection is super solid. There are few things more aggravating than the intermittent cutting out of sound in one of your channels, and having to reach back there for anything, having to fidget around with all that because of a loose RCA with a less than optimal connection. If you think you're going to be messing with it often, um, maybe not the best choice? But also, you might not mind. For me, it's not pleasant, but sound quality makes up for it, and I won't be messing around with my setup anytime soon. In the end, I can't imagine anything more expensive could sound much "better", but again, I may be wrong, as I don't have much experience with super high-end stuff. I'm not going to pretend I know anything for sure. There are myths for everything, and I am no expert to deny, or confirm such "myths" in this field, especially without instruments to measure these and compare them with others to get objective data. However, they do sound fantastic. So, whatever that's worth to you...

High quality audio cables at a very reasonable price
This review is for the 0.5m RCA cables. I've been looking for cables to replace my 20-year-old AudioQuest Cinnamon 0.5m RCA cables which had developed a nasty habit of unexpectedly cutting-out between my processor and amplifier. I confirmed it was the cables by replacing them with some equally old (but much less used) high-quality Monster cables. Since I didn't feel like spending another small fortune on cables, I decided to see what Amazon had to offer. There were some good reviews for SKW, the price was reasonable, and they were one of the few to offer a half-meter length (always go with the shortest cable possible, regardless of quality). My equipment is a mix of fairly high-end (Lexicon LX-5 amp and Legacy Powerbloc2 amp) and mid-level (Marantz SR7011 used to power the four ceiling speakers in a 7.1.4 Atmos/DTS-X/Auro-3D setup), so quality cables make an audible difference. The SKW cables look and feel well made, but it's what's inside that counts. Using a sound meter, there was a gain of at least 0.5dB (at 55dB) over the more expensive Monster cables, with an apparent increase in clarity. These are definitely good cables and well worth the price. My only complaint is the locking system. The cables have a threaded connector which you loosen to attach and finger tighten to lock. The problem is if you're attaching multiple cables adjacent to each other (in my case the pre-outs) it's impossible to tighten the inner ones by hand. I don't see the necessity of locking the cable to the connector. A snug fit is sufficient. I think SKW was a little too clever trying to one-up the competition here. A good idea but not well executed. However, I do plan to purchase another pair or two despite this 'flaw'. And the cables are directional.

Extremely well built...very good audio reproduction
If you don't believe that cables actually have a 'sound' then at the very least you must admit these cable are beautifully made and very sturdy. You can plug/unplug them many times without leaving the RCA connector behind. Although pretty chunky, they are quite flexible and allows sharp bends. The diameter of the RCA plugs MAY be too large for very low-end equipment that tends to have the plugs very closely spaced. But then again, if you have a $29 DVD player from Walmart, you will not be looking at these cable. I only had a chance to compare these sonically with two other cable...one being a $15 car audio interconnect, and the other being a much more expensive pure silver interconnect. This cable was much closer to the latter. Its sonic attributes will of course depend entirely on what ancillary equipment you have. But suffice it to say, these are PLENTY good enough even when used with some pretty esoteric equipment. I used these between a $20k CD player and a preamp.
