TJK-1 / The Job Knob, Magnetic Acetylene Tank Knob

It’s hard to open if the tank was shut using a service wrench. But otherwise it's awesome! Such a simple thing, yet so great to have. 100% would buy again

Works great for opening and closing my acetylene bottle. Beats digging for the wrench every time. Stays put and turns easily. I’d buy again if needed.

Its really a simple little knob, so for what it is it is overpriced. But, once I loosened my acetylene tank with a pliers and added this, it allowed me to hand open and close the tank.

Great product holds on securely and does the job as long as the bottles aren't too tight

Seems like a great Idea, but most of the acetylene tanks have bronze knobs and because of that the magnetic knob does stick on, very easy too lose on the job.

Magnetic ok, round knob ok, but the tops of some b tanks can be real squealers. If the knob was a larger diameter it may have the required leverage to deal with the more difficult tanks. It works and is easy to store but I think during the product development the BOM materials people shrunk it to save $$.

To me this is a must have if you are using the small acetylene tank from Harbor Freight or similar. Trying to use a wrench or something seems like a bad idea to me because gas could be leaking out while I'm fiddling around with a wrench, the knob is the only way to go. Plus it gives a finer and firmer control on the valve.
