Great bit of kit
I gave this fishing box which I purchased a five star review and let me explain why. As a fisherman since my earliest youth I have tried to find the perfect fishing box but as your kit expands this becomes more and more impossible to the extent that I have given up this quest for my holy grail. However the fishing box does cover a multitude of scenarios. Sometimes fishermen and I am including myself believe that they need to take all their gear to the waterside and as we all know this has been quite cumbersome. With this box it allows you take a fair selection of equipment and even your lunch. I would defy anyone to show me a fishing box that can accommodate spare reels, flask and maybe dead bit on top of the usual gear. Said box however does allow you to do just that. Now if you are like me at times and wish to cover a lot of ground while out fishing then the old 25 or 35 litre rucksack does the trick but if you intend to establish a base or sit by the bank and take it easy then this is for you. It is also quite good to just keep in the car on the off chance that you pass a lake or river that you fancy wetting a line on. In my box I have and can put:- Fishing knife, lures, floats, hooks, spare line, reel, spare spool, rigs, dead bait, pike grabber, pliers, sweet corn, binos, flask, sandwiches,Spod, trace making gear, multi tool, small first aid kit,the belongings I usually carry when fishing (eg car keys, wallet,Mobile phone etc)bite alarm and a lot more. As you all know it's horses for courses but this box has definitely a purpose for particular fishing where everything and I mean everything you need is in the one place all you need to do if you have plenty of gear is sort out what is needed and apply your logic, you don't event have to take your fishing chair.

Great small seatbox.
I had previously been using a massive Shakespeare seatbox - which I was somehow filling with stuff I really didn't need. It was a pain to carry, hard to get over rocks and generally a bit annoying. I swapped out to this smaller box and it's been a dream. Enough room for everything we need for a days sea fishing, light enough to carry long distances and small enough to not roll around when clambering over rocks. Only negative point would be the organisers in the top, the trays are juts a bit too small (not quite deep enough) to hold scissors, t-bar etc. I think if I removed the plastic case things in the top of the lid that might give enough depth. Definitely recommended.

great value
I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this as its hard to judge the size and quality from a picture. When I received the box I was pleasantly surprised. You would have to search high and low to find a better tacklebox/ seat combination at anywhere close to this price. If you're like me and you like to fish off the beaten track then this box is ideal, light yet strong, enough compartments to keep your tackle organised and neat and a large enough storage section for your reels spare line, large floats and even a smaller tackle box if needed. Negatives? Maybe there should be clips on the strap to allow it to swivel but not a big deal.

Good fishing box
Good fishing box it was for my grandson who was very happy with it . it was a good size with boxes in the lid and a long strap , it was also light for him but will depend what he puts in it as it had plenty of room

Great box - not sure so good for fishing kit
Bought this box to customise as a beauty case. The size is ideal, especially the height of the bottom compartment with a well sectioned top compartment. The only criticism is that when the top opens, it needs to lean on something otherwise the whole box falls over. Also, the fish sticker on the front is tacky, but easily removed. Now that I have made pocket bands for storage and velcroed to the inside of the box, it's a perfect nail art box - all required solvent bottles, containers, polish cases and curing lamp fit beautifully. I would recommend this box, but it's possibly on the small side as a fishing box/seat and a bit unstable.

Incredible value for money, this will last a long time.
Incredible value for money. The lid section and the four clear clip-close compartments within, are very secure and won't open accidentally (this was my main concern with a box so inexpensive) The black middle section is well spaced with removable dividers which are also held firmly in place, and the main space in the bottom section is roomy. I'll happily sit on this without fear of collapse (I'm 110kg) and I have no doubt it'll fit everything I need (apart from rod ofc) for any fishing trip. If you're thinking about it, Buy it, you'll not be disappointed.

Good tackle box but smaller than you think
I originally purchased this to put all my reels and other tackle in and although it is a sturdy box it is not as big as I was hoping as for the price there are larger, I also thought I would use it as a seat and to be fair it didn't break when used for 1 day but the lip was starting to move out of line by the end and I would imagine another day and it would have given way, overall a good tackle box but smaller than you think and not an enduring seat solution.

Solid and surprisingly roomy.
It's taken a pounding so far! Had about half a dozen long sessions with this now, from sand to boulder beaches and it's coped with being lugged around and perched on by our collective behinds. Nice touch is the metal bars in the hinges can be removed so you can separate the compartments for when the smell of dead squid gets too much and you have to clean the thing! We can fit a small toolbox, 2 poundland special bits boxes, a 20-reel rig box, a couple of tuppaware boxes for bait and our 6000 and 8000 reels in with a little room to spare for torches and other bits. Top compartments fit most grip leads at and below 5oz and with a bit of playing with the dividers you can fit in pliers and floats. The with compartments on the top of the lid are a little awkward but so far we've discovered that they are an oddly perfect fit for a large box of tictacs, an iphone 4 and a selection of smaller lures like jelly eels. When you flip the lid for the main compartments the box will tip backwards because of the weight - just lean it against something! Simples. Final point - the shoulder strap works fine but when fully loaded the weight is a bit much for one shoulder when carried for an extended period of time. We're already eyeballing the rucksack conversion. --------- Can't really comment on the waterproof pouch as it hasn't been used - seems a basic build but would probably do the job in a light dousing.
