I was seriously suffering from sciatica pain and tailbone injuries. What a difference in my pain level after my 1st day of using. It's comfortable to be able to sit. Great quality and size for everyone. comfortable support. I'm a small person and have a hard time finding products that are useful.

I got the larger version of the pillow. I first have to admit that the first evening I tried it, I used it backwards! The u shaped pillow is used with the legs of the “u” in the back. That way works better if you have tailbone pain because you sit on it and there’s an open space for your tailbone so that it doesn’t come into contact with anything. It makes sense when you think about it but I don’t always think at first. I felt I should admit to that because I suppose there could be others out there who might not be thinking about it when they first try the pillow out. It won’t work for tailbone pain if you sit on it the opposite way and could definitely aggravate it. But hopefully others are thinking more than I did when they first try this. So I normally sit on my recliner and since I’ve lost 120 pounds, I ended up with tailbone pain. I asked my doctor what kind of specialist would deal with this and she responded that she thought it was probably from loss of subcutaneous tissue and that she didn’t think a specialist would be necessary, that it should try a donut pillow. But Amazon has some things that pop up when you search for something that look even better and I chose this one for the description and the price. And the look that appeared to be more comfortable than a standard donut pillow. I’ve been using it for a couple of days now and I feel that it’s working for my tailbone pain because it prevents me tailbone from making contact with anything, which results in the pain I was having. It’s a hard pillow but I think it needs to be or it might not prevent me from sinking into it and my tailbone would make contact with the seat of whatever chair I’m sitting on. It’s comfortable when I consider the pain I would otherwise be having. I feel this is a good quality pillow and the price is right and I would recommend it to my best friend or anyone else who has tailbone pain.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought for my uncomfortable desk chair at work. Provided comfort for my bottom and the extra bit of height needed for easier typing. Now its helpful in my car due to the seat losing structure with over 100k miles on Honda Accord. Haven't had a car seat lose it's support before. Plus I get a bit more height seeing over the dash. Yes, I'm getting shorter or not sitting up straight. When it's cold outside, this seat cushion is firmer but not uncomfortable. Recommend.

I have one of these in my office at work and decided to purchase something similar for an old office chair at home. The cushion comes compressed, so you have to let it expand before using it. I set it sit overnight. This makes sitting for any period of time more comfortable. My old office chair is over 17 years old and this is what makes it usable. If you have an office chair that's not very comfortable, give this a try. Make sure you sit it on the chair. as. shown, with the open side to the back.

I purchased this foam cushion for my brother following surgery, and it has truly been a game changer. It provides excellent support and comfort exactly where he needs it most. The cooling gel layer over the thick foam adds relief, and the removable, washable cover is a great bonus. He’s a big guy, so I was initially concerned about whether it would hold up—but it’s been absolutely excellent. We’re very, very pleased with the quality and performance!

I did not buy for my "tailbone" (aka coccyx), but for ischial tuberosities (sit bones), as my cheap office chair at home is pretty hard. I paid $18 for the large and bought a mid-priced one at $48 to compare the two. After giving them 48 hours to expand, I used each as long as possible, until I felt pain. The costly one hurt the backs of my legs, was slightly too high, and hurt my butt bones after a while. This one I could sit 2X as long and is less than half the cost! Can't beat that! I only wish that they made a version with actual holes, so the sit bones don't have any pressure on them at all. Also I like even more memory foam time feeling, but I should be happy it doesn't sink too much with my weight (156lbs). If you buy XL I can't say if it will fit your office chair.

this is a very SOFT and cushy seat cushion. I bought it for my Sciatica, and so far it's very comfortable. The 2 problems I've found so far are, 1) it slides a bit once it's under you, so you may have to adjust it from time to time. And also, 2) It's supposed to be a "Cooling Gel" cushion, and as long as I have the Soft removable cover on, It doesn't feel cooling either on my gluts, or the back of my thighs...

I really needed this. I have sciatica, and the cushion on my computer chair just wasn't doing the job. I needed extra padding for my long sessions at my computer. I also needed the padding to be firm, not too soft. Just got this yesterday, and already I can feel the difference. Just amazing and comfortable.
