6 Years of flawless 24/7 Operation
I have 4 of these operating pumps 24/7 365 since 2020. They are in a hot environment, so I have a 4" computer style fan laying on top of each controller drawing up to assist with heat management. The internal fan is probably not up to this task once the heat sinks become dirty after a year or two. Heat kills silicon, so it is well worth the extra $10 investment for an external fan. I am using external control of speed and also using another input as a safety fallback to keep the pumps idling at 20hz in the case of a blockage or other water issue. Make sure they are mounted vertically (as shown in the product photo) for proper airflow.

Works well, quiet and smooth startup
Works well on Bridgeport clone. I have it locked to 60hz because I’m using a Varispeed. The motor doesn’t see designed to cool at low speeds so I won’t be using variable frequency until I replace w good Baldor

Good item
Excellent product, very adjustable. Only issue was the poor translation of a poorly written instruction pamphlet. Other than that, runs my one hp South bend lathe just fine.

Drive works but very disappointing
The drive does what it needs to do. The issue is, as soon as power is applied the fan starts running and the display flashes on and off. I have a couple of these drives and they don’t do this. It’s a real pain as I can’t leave it on when I’m working in the shop. When I need the grinder that the drive runs, I have to apply power and wait for the drive to boot up. This is a huge disappointment.

Electrical engineering/computer programming degree required!
Bought this for an upgrade to my Onefinity CNC router. Not only did I not find any solid information on basic programming parameters, I looked in the manual, which while being written in almost grammatical correctness, it was still like decrypting ancient Egyptian heiroglyphic jokes that were reliant on the situation at the time they were written to understand the information. I've reached out for help in multiple forums and am almost to the point where it is functioning the way it should, but this thing is a monster! Oh! Make sure you don't ever hook the spindle to it before you finish programming and lock the settings!! Multiple forum members have shared horror stories about how they fried their spindle or the VFD simply by making that mistake!

Contradictory diagrams.
Can't seem to get rs485 to work pulling my hair out. Trying to troubleshoot it the polarity is different on the manual versus the sticker so it takes twice as long to test anything because I have to test it in both ways. Also the case has a ground engraved into it. That's wrong. It will blow things up if you hook up a ground there. I understand they might not want to change the mold but they could pay somebody to scrape the old Mark off on each one. The other problem needs to be fixed by either changing the sticker or changing the manual.

It works after much effort.
This unit has several faults: 1. It is quite noisy, 2. The connection terminal strip is too small to accept American #10 spade crimp-on connectors, which my Teco, that suffered damage in a power outage, would, 3. It was quite difficult to get it to work properly, first it would not turn on until I set certain parameters and then it would only run at 50 HZ out of the box until I discovered I needed to set Pd072. It does have a book of the settings but it does not tell you what you need to set. I only got this as the Teco is no longer made and I needed to finish a project right away.
