Ok so after looking for a replacement battery for my laptop I came across this battery. I read the reviews and some were good and some weren't. A lot said the battery life was short. Well I work on medical x-ray equipment and know it's always best to let your battery go completely dead then give it a full charge. This is to prevent the memory that can possibly happen which cause the battery to thinks it's 100% charges when it actually isn't. Also some reviews said the battery wasn't 100% charged when they received it. Really what battery that sits on a shelf comes 100% charged? None cause it's called leak down which is normal. So since I have had this battery it has worked perfect with no issues and I recommend anyone who needs it to buy it and just let it go totally dead the first day and then do a full recharge and will be fine from them on.

When my original battery died, I panicked. I bought this replacement one and my laptop has been working perfectly ever since.

Installed the battery, turned on laptop and it booted right up - no problems. Battery even came with nearly a full charge.

The Dell Latitude 6420 is business-scale laptop and a workhorse with a long life. So of course, the OEM battery will eventually give out, as mine did. I ordered a replacement battery five months ago on Amazon from the XYT-TECH Store. Installation was easy. I just did a BIOS check on the battery, and it was rated good. I use the battery almost every day. I currently get around 2 hours of continuous use out of it reading news, texting, and a few videos here and there. I have no problem recommending this battery for purchase. I do think there may be a bug in the way the 6420 reads the battery charge. The battery reading can vacillate dramatically, with the charge going both up and down over my usual 2 hours of use disconnected from AC. It usually gives me a reading of about 3 hours a few minutes after I first unplug, dropping to about 2 hours remaining after 45 minutes or so of use. After about 90 minutes of continual use, it will fall to about 1 hour left of charge. From there, you better be ready to plug back in, because it can drop to critical (i.e., blinking yellow battery indicator) at just about any time from that time forward. That's my only real complaint, and as I said previously, it is probably not the battery's fault.

Solved dead battery problem

Battery continually either stops communicating with laptop, or reports wear level 100% and charge level as "1.$% on HWMonitor. this causes my laptop to go to sleep (per power setting for critical battery alerts). i have followed procedure to discharge then recharge fully. i dont run computer plugged in with battery and still it fails randomly. dont waste your money. go OEM if you can.

This battery fit perfectly on my Lattitude 6420. Took the old battery out and put the new battery in. No problems. It was charged to 70% out of the package when I installed. Used it till the meter went to 10%, then recharged fully overnight on my dock. The next day the battery was at 100%. Used my laptop for a solid three hours; full brightness, checking emails and surfing the web. Did the same thing the next day with no issues. Very happy with this purchase.

Quiero retractarme el dia de hoy 02/14/22 ya que acabo de recibir por parte directa de TG-Tech el reemplazo de la bateria que adquiri el 09/06/21 la cual llego mala y me di cuenta fue cuando me llego a Venezuela mi pasi de origen, justo ese dia me comunique con AMAZON y la unica manera de que me hiciesen el reemplazo era enviando la bateria mala pero estando en Venezuela donde las condciones de mi pais no son las mas optimas eso era un imposible por lo cual di por perdido mi dinero ya que no podia cumplir con los requisitos de AMAZON para la devolucion y reemplazo de la bateria, pero cual fue mi sorpresa que el dia 01/18/22 recibi una notificacion directa de fabricante donde me inicaba que me iban a reemplazar la bateriasin necesidad de que les enviara la bataria mala ya que consideraron mi situacion pais y me hicieron el envio a una empresa de envios puerta a puerta a Venezuela donde por casualidad me venia una caja para mi pais por maritimo y ya tengo la nueva bateria en mi poder y en correcto funcionamiento. Por todo lo expuesto anteriormente los califico con 5 estrellas porque lo mas importrante de las ventas de cualquier rubro es su servicio Post Venta asi no haya sido una respuesta inmediata pero lo importante son los resultados. Die Lieferung von Bestellung bis Erhalt der Ware,ca 4 Tage.Der Akku kam gut verpackt und Schadenfrei bei mir an. Hahe ihn am gleichen Tag geladen und eingebaut und er fügte sich passgenau in den Slot ein.Der Neustart ging ohne Probleme vonstatten.Überprüfung der Arbeitszeit,ergab ca 5h,bei dem Original-Akku war die Betriebszeit nach 7,5 Jahren nur noch 1,5h.Ich hoffe,dass ich jetzt erst mal wieder eine Weile Ruhe habe und freue mich darauf im freien den Laptop zu benutzen, wie gewohnt Bis auf weiteres,Kaufempfehlung.

Très bonne batterie de remplacement. Ma fille est aux anges, elle n'a plus besoin de brancher son PC en permanence ! Très bien emballé et envoi rapide et soigné.

Batteria arrivata velocemente, corrispondente alla descrizione e riconosciuta dal sistema. Spero che, nel tempo, non mi deluda.

Es justo lo que buscaba. El ordenador es antiguo, pero funciona bien, por lo que no se hasta qué punto me compensaba gastarme lo que me ha costado la batería, que no me ha parecido barata, pero es lo que necesitaba.
