Really worked.
This really worked! Marmots have not returned. Smells aweful, though. Wear gloves and a mask.

So far, so good ...but it stinks (as it's supposed to)
Without going into too much detail (because my blood pressure will rise again...I had some squirrels chew through my fascia board and part of my plywood to get into my attic and make a nest. I didn't realize how bad the damage was at the time. A wildlife removal service came and removed the squires and installed some metal to block their entry. But they are squirrely and found a nearby area to chew back in. While I was waiting for the roofer to come out to assess the damage, I needed to do something. I wanted to buy a BB gun (a serious consideration) but thought not a good teaching decision for my son. Tabasco sauce the area? Cayenne pepper the area? (I read the squirrels don't like the hot stuff). But I knew I could get directly to the area because of the pitch of the roof and didn't want to risk getting air borne cayenne in my eyes or nose. Then I found this stuff and bought it. When the wildlife removal folks came back (second time) they removed 2 dead young squirrel and one live young squirrel. I ask him to spread this stuff out in the area that they got entry. The removal guy had not heard about this stuff but did as I asked. I warned him that it stinks. He didn't believe me. Fool. He came down his ladder complaining that as he was throwing some of the stuff under the eaves, the smell really got to him. He said he thought this should help keep the squirrels out and with the roof repair I should be good to go. Roofer came out and did a lot of work. I asked him to also spread the granolas around and he was not happy with the smell. I just hope it lasts for a long time. NOTE: I'm not sure this would last long if spread out in the yard. I would expect that once rain hit it, it would dissolve. Not sure how long the scent would linger then. I did spread some on my patio and now, 2 months later, the squirrels are back running around the patio. But I'm not going out and spreading it every month. I hope and pray that in the attic, out of the elements it will last a long time. I used to think squirrels were cute and funny. Now they are just destructive rats with long tails and I want them gone.

Stinks to high heaven..but package broke open ugh
I feel like this stuff is pretty effective, but you have to be committed to the process of getting rid of your critters. This product smells extremely bad, which is good! Unfortunately, the two pack that I just ordered broke open during shipping and it was a bit of a mess getting it all organized again. I started opening it in my house, and I quickly realized that was going to be a huge mistake. One whole container of this broke open and the contents were scattered throughout the box. I was able to salvage most of it. To be successful at getting rid of critters I feel like you might have to employ a couple of different tactics. A skunk is digging under my garage but I can’t quite get to it to block it off until the brush dies off for the winter so I’m using this product in the meantime.

Not for a suburban scenario. Dosent work on squirrels but works great on people.
I have problems with squirrels. Confounded furry critters are eating all my garden goodies. I was hoping this would be the answer to all my problems but there are a few issues. first of all, It did not work. It may be that I did not place enough down but being that I live in a typical suburban environment my neighbors are only a dozen feet or so from me and this stuff stinks! REAL bad! I gagged when I opened it up for the first time. We had to close the windows it was so bad. So did the neighbors. It makes your yard smell like a dog has crapped-everywhere. Fortunately it washed away quickly after it rained but that is the other problem. If you plan on using this you should buy a lot of it. You will have to reapply after it rains every time. And this stuff is not cheap. Another problem is that you are supposed to use this as a perimeter barrier because it can't be placed on or near vegetables. or anything that will be eaten. My friend uses this on his farm to keep away deer with great success but he uses a lot of product and it's no where near his house. So depending on what your needs are you may have better results but our squirrels completely ignored this product as if it did not exist. I guess I'll try the pepper wax and see if that works but the real solution is getting a dog. All in good time I guess.

Smells Bad....Works Great
I use this product seasonally to keep the rabbits out of our flower garden. It works great. The product smells strong and the rabbits don't like it. Problem....when it rains the smell is gone. So you just reapply.
