Will this work to upgrade my neato botvac D series to work over wifi?

no. this doesn't have wifi and it is not compatible with older D series.

I used this board to replace a board on my neato d4, in which the wifi stopped working. it still doesn't work. is the new board bad?

you are having the exact same problem as before? with the new board? if so, I would guess it is something else.

Is this compatible with the D5 as well, or just the D3?

I think it will work and the only difference I can find is that the D3 does not have a side brush and the D5 does. so if you switched to this board, you would lose your side brush.

Everything was a match

After installing the new motherboard everything went back to normal. The vacuum was bad to work. Awesome!!! Don’t need to throw it away anymore.

Fixed my non-working wifi

The board worked and it was not too difficult to change out. There are a few helpful Botvac disassembly videos on youtube that make this task fairly simple.
