Benefits Corsodyl Dental Gel is an antibacterial gel which is useful in: •Treating and preventing gum disease •Maintaining mouth hygiene •Promoting healing after dental surgery and •Controlling recurring mouth ulcers •Managing denture sore mouth and recurring oral thrush •Preventing cavities for those at high risk of tooth decay. Warnings or Restrictions Do not use if: •The patient is under 12 years of age unless told to by your dentist. •You have just brushed your teeth. See usage instructions for more details. •Do not use anywhere other than in your mouth; wash thoroughly if you get any in your eyes or ears. •Please consult your cist or doctor before using this medicine if you are currently pregnant, likely to get pregnant or feeding. •Please consult your cist or doctor if you are currently taking any other medicines as this may cause an interaction. •If you think you may be ic to any of the ingredients contained in this medicine, please seek medical advice before taking. •If you have any questions after you have bought this medication, please speak to your cist. Product Specification Active ingredients: chlorhexidine digluconate 1.0% w/w. Other ingredients: hydroxypropylcellulose, macrogolgycerol hydroxystearate, sodium acetate, levmenthol, peppermint oil, isopropyl alcohol and water. Gum disease: brush your teeth twice a day for 1 - 2 minutes using 2cm of gel, continue this for a month. Mouth ulcers and oral thrush: apply the gel into the sore areas up to 2 times a day for at least 1 minute. Continue until 2 days after healing has occurred. For denture sore mouth: apply gel lightly over the fitting surface of the dentures then insert them. clean and soak the dentures in corsodyl mouthwash for 15 minutes twice a day. Dental surgery or tooth decay: use as directed by your dentist. If symptoms persist, see your dentist.
