this thing is a beast - well it was
update 04/26/2021 batter will not hold charge longer than 2-3 weeks. trying to get a replacement is turning out to be a chore, will update the review when i get it replaced. amazon is not making it easy Original review: original battery died after 2 years in my 4runner. ok fine, the fridge, compressor and lights didn't help any. put this in and wow!!! truck starts faster, remotes have more range, things just work faster and better. plenty of power for the fridge, don't have to worry about it shutting down now. I was thinking about running dual batteries, but for now at least I don't think I will have to. side note to Toyota, why not just use a battery like this in the factory? it really is just that good

Odyssey battery
Failed after 3 days (mebbe too cold outside), no response for a exchange or refund. I did try to charge it but the digital readout declared battery dead. Just an expensive paperweight. The Wally World batteries are a better option.

Excellent battery!
This is my second one and I put them to hard use. My first lasted 8 years and was still good but changed it just because of the demands I have. If you treat this right you can easy get 10 years and lots of power. Edit: So now it’s 2025 purchased my second one in 2019. So it’s 6 years old I run a lot of off road lights, mainly I have a stereo system pulling about 2,000 watts I’m using daily. And I just measured the resting voltage after 24 hrs. Basically telling me my battery is about 70% of its life. I consider that pretty good. One thing I thing people don’t understand is AGM batteries want/need to be charged at a higher voltage. I have done the big 3 on my 4Runner so it’s getting 14.4v. Many factory systems charge at or under 13.9v. Another thing to keep in mind if you’re going to put it on a charger make sure it’s got enough amps. My first Odyssey I abused and killed it several times plus only having a 1amp charger was bad for it and it still lasted me 8 years. Mainly died off because my alternator failed and I completely drained the battery a few times close together to get moved while the alt was not working. But it actually still worked and passed a load test but I could tell it was about to go. But that was 8 years of hard use. My stock alternator is putting out about 140 amps and my stereo pulls that much. So essentially means I’m relying on the battery to keep the power up on my stereo. This thing battery has to be giving me 50 amps or maybe more? Because my alt is at best leaving me with 80 amps after what the vehicle needs to run with the fans going and whatever. My voltage with my stereo full volume never drops below 13.2v. Point is I feel it’s pretty impressive, I’m actually at the point of needing to add a second battery with ongoing upgrades and to give my stereo the full power. But this one hangs in there still after all these years. As you can see in picture, I have 0 gauge running to two amps and some 4 gauge running lights/power distribution.

Fantastic batteries, only brand I use for Jeep Wranglers
***The size “34R-PC1500-A“ DOES fit a 2012-2018 Jeep JK Wrangler. We have them in a 2015 and a 2016 (unsure on the 2007-2011 wranglers) We get a lot of temperature fluctuation, 100°in late summer, -20° and below in winter and they always start. Good amount of CCA. Great for accessories like a winch, auxiliary lights etc. These are expensive, but I’ve gotten sick of lower quality batteries in extreme climates. These are the only batteries I use with our Jeep wranglers, and I’ve been using Oddessy’s for nearly a decade. One of my batteries is nearly 8 years old (2004 wrangler) and works perfectly. The others are 3 years old and running strong as well. These are AGM batteries so take care to not drain them, and I’ve been repeatedly told to confirm they are charged before starting the vehicle or it can damage them (reduce charge capacity permanently).

Great power, some adjustments required
Great battery, two things: 1- should come with adapters as it's much smaller than the OEM battery and required a wood piece on top for the hold down to work. 2- the posts are much smaller than OEM so I had to get my truck connector "shaved" because even fully tight they would come loose.

Best battery you can buy for a JEEP
Excellent quality, long lasting and built tough. This baby runs a warn winch, fridge freezer and electronics on my jk rubicon. Its expensive but well worth the piece of mind to have the best battery money can buy. Highly recommend it, i have abused this battery and it keeps coming back for more. Make sure its charged with a agm charger and not your alternator to get it fully charged. Alternators are made to maintain not recharge deeply discharged batterys. It will last longer as well.

Battery no good
Battery is not good . I purchase mines in 10/22/2023 and is now 11/14/2025 and my odyssey won't start . I took it to autozone and charge it up , it last 2 days and die again . Almost 500 dollars for this battery and it doesn't even last . I have a cheap battery in my acura mdx and it's been 3 years and the battery still going strong . What a shame

Perfect fit for 2014 FJ Cruiser
This battery came highly recommended from the FJ Forums, and now I see why. I have only had it for a month, but after another sub-zero cold spell, it started my FJ without a hint of struggle. I did add the diode to the charging circuit to raise the charging voltage by about 1/2 a volt. The stock Panasonic battery did pretty well for 10+ years, but it struggled on cold mornings, and finally, this winter wouldn't start.
