Fenwicks Bike Drive Train Cleaning Kit - Green

I used to use aerosol brake cleaners applied to a cloth and wipe individual links. This worked great but was SLOW. With the foaming cleaner, sponge and brush I can effortlessly clean the entire drivetrain in no time at all. You no longer need a flat head screwdriver on the jockey wheels! IGNORE THE INSTRUCTIONS! There's TOO MUCH FOAM to spray directly to the chain. Instead, quickly backpedal and spray to the cassette. Now, changing gear and pedalling forward you can use the chain to move the foam across all gears then leave the foam to turn liquid and follow the instructions from here. After a night ride I used to just throw the bike in the garage and leave it for another day, but now I will always clean the drivetrain because it's just so fast.

I use all muc off appliances when it comes to bike maintenance and cleaning, and i decided to go with this kit, i liked the idea of foam more than the muc off drivetrain cleaner, so decided to give this a shot, this entire kit is the same price as one bottle of muc off drivetrain cleaner, and honestly it might be better, the bottle shoots out the foam very strong, and my only complaint is how you get the foam on the entire cassette as on the guide you put it on your hands and just kind of rotate the cassette to get the foam on it, its a bit hard to do as the entire foam ball clings to the cassette, but there is no other way to get foam on honestly, I waited around 8-10 minutes for the foam to sink in and turn into liquid, and as soon i used the sponge i saw brown gunk on the sponge and everywhere, i was so impressed by how effective it was and used the brush and rotated the cassette, then rinsed it off and my entire patio was brown with gunk, which was a mess but proves the effectiveness, one spray and all the gunk was gone, to get rid of the gunk from the brush and sponge was also pretty easy, and the sponge only had a tiny bit of brown residue left. Great value, and great effectiveness, some would say better than muc off!

Best drivetrain cleaning kit out there! Bought this as I was trying to find an alternative to Muc Off, and this exceeded my expectations. Made my drivetrain come and super clean compared to before (left some before and after photos). It is super easy to apply and scrub using the brush for; cassette, derailleur and chainring. Then you use the brush with a slit to clean the chain. Rinse, dry and there you go, a squeaky clean drivetrain that you could eat your dinner off! 10/10 the best chain cleaner and would recommend to anyone that likes a clean bike. I would definitely buy this again.

As a bike maintenance novice I can fully recommend this. My bike chain was making a dreadful noise and I realised it needed lubricating but had to be cleaned first. The instructions on you tube were clear and easy to follow. Really quick to do. Having a helping hand first time might be good but not absolutely necessary. Sponge easy to rinse clean in water. Chain was super clean and after some lubricant bike is running like a dream!

Cleans the cassette and chain brilliantly. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who rides their bike in the UK especially after a rainy day on the road. I’ve ditched my degreaser for this product

Superb! So much better and easier to use than the liquid sprays. Wear disposable gloves. My chain and cassette were a total mess. I hate cleaning them. One use of this and they look brand new. SUPERB!

The foam is great for chain cleaning but the sponge is only good for a couple of uses and the brush not much more.
